The new collection of games will have all the DLCs

Tropico 5 is one of the best city builders ever made and now the developers from Haemimont Games and the publisher Kalypso Media Digital are releasing the Complete Collection.

When all the other companies were trying to make accurate games and city builders that would feature realistic scenarios, Haemimont Games were giving players the reigns of a tropical country ruled by a dictator. It’s something that people have always appreciated about this game and it’s a legacy worth of at least another sequel.

It’s hard to believe, but Tropico 5 was released almost two years ago, and it was met with critical acclaim. The developers continued to expand the gameplay with more DLCs over time and there are now 13 of them, two of which are more consistent: Tropico 5 – Espionage and Tropico 5 – Waterborne.

One collection to get them all

Tropico 5 Complete Collection will gather all the DLCs that have been made until now under one roof and it’s a sign that there won’t be anything released for this title. It also means that maybe it’s high time for a sequel.

“Have you been planning a tip-top tropical trip to the island paradise of Tropico? If so then you may need to pack yourself an extra-large suitcase, as Kalypso Media (and El Presidente, of course) is preparing a bumper package for the beloved strategy game on PC. Packing in both full expansions ‘Espionage’ and ‘Waterborne’ along with all 10 DLC add-ons released to date,” developers wrote in the official announcement.

Don’t go rushing to Steam to get this new edition just yet. It will be released on January 29, so it’s a pretty long time until then. There is no information about the supported platforms, but it’s likely that the current ones will be respected and the PC, Mac OS X, and Linux players will be able to buy it.
