14 DAY TRIAL // One of the best games in the Total War series, Shogun 2 is now available for free on Steam. As part of the #StayHomeSaveLives campaign, SEGA and Creative Assembly have decided to let fans of the turn-based strategy genre grab Total War: Shogun 2 for free until the end of the month.
Starting Monday, April 27, 2020, from 18:00 BST until Friday, May 1, 2020, at 18:00 BST, Total War: Shogun 2 can be added to your Steam library at no cost and you'll get to keep it forever.

Along with the giveaway, Creative Assembly announced a Total War sale on Steam that will run from April 27 through May 4. The sale includes selected historical Total War games and DLC. Unfortunately, games like Total War: Three Kingdoms and Rome: Total War, as well as their DLC packs are not included in this sale. The same goes for the Total War: Warhammer, although some of their DLCs are getting some nice discounts.
Those who miss the giveaway will be able to get Total War: Shogun 2 at 75% off, which is still a good deal considering how many hours of entertainment the game has to offer. Keep in mind that if you already own some Total War: Shogun 2 DLC packs and decide to purchase the DLC Collection, the price you pay will be adjusted automatically to offset the cost of those DLCs you already own.
