While Apple has so far remained completely tight-lipped on everything related to the upcoming iPhone 14 lineup, the information that reached the web through unofficial channels provided us with a close look at pretty much everything related to the new models.

The most recent leak published on Twitter by iPhone14Fans provides us with an overview of the pricing that Apple allegedly has in mind for the upcoming models, and needless to say, they are quite shocking.

While the base iPhone 14 with 128GB will start at $799 if this leak is right, the iPhone 14 Pro Max will be quite expensive, beginning with the base model and ending with the top configuration.

Very expensive smartphones

The iPhone 14 Pro Max with 128GB of storage will be available for $1,199, while the 256GB version will carry a price tag of $1,299. The 512GB version might hit the shelves with a $1,499 price tag, while the 1TB version could cost no more, no less than $1,699.

Market analysts from TrendForce also expect the iPhone 14 prices to be increased, but on the other hand, they believe the Cupertino-based tech giant could look into the whole thing very carefully in order to make sure its sales aren’t impacted.

“The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max are among four new models to be upgraded to the A16 (TSMC 4nm) processor. Upgrades such as initial starting memory capacity increasing to LPDDR5 6GB and 256GB, primary camera moving up to 48 million, Face ID Design changes, etc., are expected to raise starting prices. However, under pressure from rising global inflation and foreign exchange rates, Apple is expected to adopt a more cautious pricing strategy so as not to affect its sales performance,” TrendForce said.

The new iPhones will be announced on September 7, with the sales to kick off on September 16.
