14 DAY TRIAL // Earlier this week, a new round of photos, purporting to be of Tom Hiddleston and new girlfriend Elizabeth Olsen in London, emerged online. The pics got fans buzzing, even if there was no way of determining whether they were legit, as they came on the heels of reports of a budding romance, which first popped online in May.
If you needed more confirmation that these two are a couple, it is here now: Tom and Elizabeth went out on a date in London the other night, and the paparazzi got wind of it and snapped their photo. Video is also available, as you can see from the one embedded at the end of this post.

You can also see a photo of the two as they were leaving the restaurant attached. They had dinner alone at The Wolseley in Mayfair, London, and thinking that there would be no one outside as they left, they decided to hail a cab.
Judging by Elizabeth’s attempts to hide her face, they weren’t too happy to see the throng of paparazzi at the gates, so while Tom hailed the cab, she waited with her back to the cameras.
They got into the second cab that stopped and sped off. The Daily Mail has more photos of the two on what it describes as most definitely a low-key date night.
Indeed, there’s nothing in the photos that would indicate they’re romantically involved, but at this point, it would be strange to believe the contrary. No one in showbiz is that eager not to be seen if they’re only having a friendly dinner, which means their attempts to be discreet are the tell-tale sign they’re a couple.
First public outing will probably come soon
Tom and Elizabeth met last year, on the set of “I Saw the Light,” in which they play husband and wife. This is when the first reports of a relationship started, but they didn’t pick up until May this year.
By that time, Elizabeth had broken up with her then-boyfriend, and the glossy reporting on the rumor casually mentioned that she and Tom were both conveniently “single.”
Tom is getting ready to hit the road to promote 2 fall releases, “Crimson Peak” and “I Saw the Light.” He will be joined by Elizabeth for the latter, so we could either witness their public coming out then, or have more photos of them together to analyze for body language and other clues.
