14 DAY TRIAL // Tom Clancy's The Division is celebrating two years of existence by organizing a massive global event that will last through the entire month of March.
If we were to follow the community’s instincts regarding the life and future of Tom Clancy's The Division, we would now remember the game as a flop for Ubisoft. Fortunately, the developers managed to turn the ship around and, following a slew of updates and expansions, the game became what it should have been from the beginning, and that is simply good.
The Division managed to redefine games as a service but to be fair, that’s not a really popular term right now in the gaming community. Most people want to buy something that finished rather than something that’s going to be improved over a couple of years.
What are the Global Events?
The developers of The Division organize, from time to time, so-called Global Events that act as modifiers for the gameplay. They usually last for about a week and offer players a new type of currency called Token. Also, people will get a chance to get some Classified Gear, which starts at level 256, no matter the tier.
All the modes in The Division will get their own Events, and they will start on the following dates: Outbreak (Start Date/Time: March 1st, 17:00 UTC - End Date/Time: March 5th, 08:00 UTC), Assault (Start Date/Time: March 8th, 12:00 UTC - End Date/Time: March 12th, 08:00 UTC), Strike (Start Date/Time: Match 15th, 12:00 UTC - End Date/Time: March 19th, 08:00 UTC), and Ambush (Start Date/Time: March 22nd, 12:00 UTC - End Date/Time: March 26th, 08:00 UTC.)
Furthermore, if you follow and watch the official Twitch channel, you will get a chance to receive Cypher Keys and the Asher vanity outfit, depending on how long you’re watching. Of course, you will have to link your Ubisoft account to Twitch.
Tom Clancy's The Division also has some impressive statistics. For example, players have killed about 66 billion NPCs, and the community engagement has risen two folds after the launched of the 1.8 update. Check out more below.
