Ubisoft is bringing new content to Rainbow Six Siege players and owners the Year 5 Pass can access it right away. Dubbed Operation Void Edge, the first season of Year 5 of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is out now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The new content is also available via UPLAY+, Ubisoft’s subscription service for PC.

The most important thing for Rainbow Six Siege players is that Operation Void Edge will allow them to play with two new Operators, Dutch Iana and Jordanian Oryx. Secondly, the Oregon map has been completely reworked to improve playability and aesthetics, but other improvements have been added too.

Last but not least, Ash is getting a full Lara Croft set, based on the iconic character by Crystal Dynamics. The new elite set includes Tomb Raider's uniform, headgear, victory animation, gadget and weapon skins.

From the tidbits revealed by Ubisoft, we learn that Iana is the new Attacker from the Netherlands who uses the Gemini Replicator, a remotely-controlled holographic copy of herself, whereas Oryx is the new Defender from Jordani who users Remah Dash, which allows him to cover short distances with blazing-fast speed.

Apart from these important additions to the game, Operation Void Edge brings a lot of other small, yet equally important changes such as barricade debris consistency, Play Section redesign, some Lesion and Twitch changes, and Operators price decrease. Also, three new seasonal weapon skins will be available this season, each with their own unique style: Saber Carve, Clog Dance and River Scale.

Keep in mind that if you don't own the Year 5 Pass you will not be able to play with the new Operators immediately. You will be able to unlock them using Renown or R6 Credits starting March 17. The rest of the new content is available right now for all players.
