You won't find paradise on the island of Auroa

Since we're just two days away from the release of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, Ubisoft released probably one last trailer before the game is out. If you bought the Gold or Ultimate editions of the game, you should already have access to Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, but for the rest, the game opens on October 4.

The brand new trailer for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint shows off a bit of gameplay and highlights the diversity of Auroa, a paradise that has fallen into the wrong hands. Those of you who've played the open beta already know whether or not you'll be getting the game, but for those who didn't have time, the trailer might be of some help.

Along with the trailer, Ubisoft summed up some of the activities and gameplay features that players should be excited about when Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint launches in just a few days. First off, the game will be playable solo or in up to four-player co-op. Secondly, the game features an interesting skill tree with a wide range of abilities to unlock, allowing for different types of playstyles.

Players will find skill points out in the world or earn them by killing enemies, completing missions, leveling up their current class, or finding collectibles. Speaking of classes, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint launches with just four classes – Assault, Field Medic, Sharpshooter, and Panther, each featuring a unique class technique and class proficiencies. These classes can be upgraded by completing challenges in PvE or PvP.

Faction Missions are another important part of the game, as the Wolves aren't the only faction of the island of Auroa. Also, not all factions are evil, so you'll have to help some of them by hacking networks, locating members, and finding vehicles around the island. For each mission you complete, you'll be awarded points toward your Battle Rewards progression path where you can see what rewards are ahead of time.

Behemoths are the most dangerous drones in Auroa. They're heavily armored and can attack multiple targets. They're very hard to beat in groups, let alone by yourself. However, they drop valuable loot and many skill points, so it might worth the trouble.

Finally, players can extensively customize their weapons with the Gunsmith via the inventory screen. Each weapon has a lot of attachments, which can be bought or find out in the world. Also, the baseline stats of a weapon can be upgraded by using parts from dismantled weapons.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint releases for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 4, but Gold and Ultimate edition owners can already jump into the action.
