Who ever imagined Oculus Rift to be perfect for a fridge ride

VR technology is pretty much a great thing, but unlike the average rollercoaster rides one can experience at any Oculus Rift booth during electronic fairs, rollercoaster rides inside a fridge are quite a rare thing.

To counter the scandalous lack of such an indispensable piece of VR demonstration for Oculus Rift, French dairy producer Bel Group decided to bring the famous Oculus rollercoaster inside a fridge filled with delicious food and Boursin-branded cheese.

In case you were not exactly hungry right now, I bet you will before the video below ends. How can anyone remain untouched by a fridge taken to such plentiful perfection, where champagne and cheese share the same space in the most perfect French fashion.

Called the Boursin Sensorium virtual reality experience, the VR rollercoaster inside the fridge calls the viewers to “Sweep through the herb forest, duck beneath the towering vegetables, wind around giant bottles of bubbly, and dive into the cheese - we promise this is a journey like no other!”

Created by Hammerhead VR studios, the demo is meant to serve the Boursin cheese brand in a thrill ride through the fridge of your dreams. Funny thing is that Hammerhead VR previously did the Undercurrent demo, which involved an exciting underwater exploration.

The fridge demo can be enjoyed both in 1080p and 2180p quality, requiring an alleged Intel i5-4690K 3.50GHz processor, 16GB of RAM and a GTX 970 graphics card. 4K videos aren't the most hardware forgiving media on the planet, but I think this is too much.
