Tila Tequila posts photo of daughter Isabella as "Baby Hitler," deletes it later

They say the past can always come back to haunt you, and Tila Tequila found that out the hard way in August this year, when she was kicked out of Celebrity Big Brother UK when older comments she had made on Facebook about Hitler re-emerged online.

Despite claims to the contrary, it seems that this wasn’t a learned lesson, because here she is again, coming under heavy fire after posting a photo of her daughter as “Baby Hitler” to her Instagram.

Tila and her idea of a joke

You can see the photo above. It is no longer available on her account, presumably because of the severe criticism it attracted.

The pic shows her daughter Isabella with her hair parted on the side and her mother’s hand holding a piece of black strap to make it look as if she has a Hitler moustache. Tila captioned it in such a way as to make it look like a joke, but at the same time, in so doing, she dismissed her previous explanation for her own offensive Hitler comments.

“Gasps!!! Isabella!!!!! What in the holy??? One day when you grow up, you're going to have to apologize for this picture, young lady!!!, she wrote. “It will come back to haunt you! This way you'll know all the struggles your Mama has been through, but I remained strong! Just for you my #Princess!! I'm only posting this because #BabyHitler was trending on Twitter today! Lmao! Don't worry! I shall punish her for being a silly child who meant no harm to anyone! She gon learn today!!!”

Before Isabella learned anything, Tila did: many of her followers pointed out to her that the “joke” was in very bad taste, especially as it involved an innocent child. She took the photo down afterwards.

Tila and the mental insanity plea

Tila first associated Hitler’s name to her own in December 2013, when she posted several rants to Facebook, saying that Hitler had essentially been a good guy whom the world misunderstood because, well, he happened to kill a bunch millions of people.

She accompanied them by photos of herself in a mock-Nazi uniform outside the gates of a concentration camp, which further infuriated her supporters and the world at large.

In August this year, after only a few days in the Big Brother house, Tila’s Nazi-sympathizing past was brought up online, which caused a huge controversy. Risking to lose too many viewers, producers decided to cut their losses in due time and they kicked her out.

In a statement meant to make the world understand her pain and to convince the producers to take her back, Tila said that whatever offensive comments she’d made, she only made them because she was under the influence of drugs and not sane of mind.

By posting this photo and this caption of her daughter, it seems like the former MTV star is changing her story once more, saying that the Hitler comments were only a joke that fell flat with the target audience.
