If you’re tired of charging your Apple Watch on a daily basis and want something that’s at least as capable in terms of features, here’s a brand-new model that is impressively affordable.

Called TicWatch GTX, this smartwatch is manufactured by Mobvoi, the company that has already released several other smartwatches part of the TicWatch lineup.

Powered by an RLC8762C chipset, the device can last up to 10 days per charge, something that you don’t find easily in the smartwatch market these days.

In the default configuration, the battery can last up to 7 days in the fully working mode, with three more days offered by the battery saving mode.

You also get 14 workout modes, 24/7 heart rate tracking, an IP68 rating, music streaming, sleep tracking, and Bluetooth 5.0. On the other hand, a GPS sensor is missing, and so is a microphone and a speaker.

Available with a 10% discount

The device comes with a 1.28-inch TFT display and also includes an accelerometer that powers the tilt to wake feature. The watch is made from metal and comes with two side buttons for easy input.

As for the price, this is where the TicWatch GTX is becoming even more appealing. The smartwatch can be yours for just $59.99, and if you buy it today, you also get a discount to $53.99.

Mobvoi decision's to abandon Wear OS is something that comes as a surprise, there's no doubt about that. Of course, the big question is whether Wear OS is ready to become your daily driver. As I’ve learned the hard way, the platform still comes with several things that need to be improved, including not only the general performance but also app stability and battery life.

Google has already announced important improvements coming to Wear OS later this year, so it remains to be seen if Mobvoi plans to return to this OS at some point in the future.
