14 DAY TRIAL // Apple is expected to take the wraps off a new iPhone model next month, and rumor has it that the device will introduce at least one new color version that could be called “Deep Blue.”
While there are sources pointing to even two new colors, including this blue shade and a dark one, it’s hard to tell if all these reports are accurate, so we should take them with a little skepticism for the time being.
Today’s leak, for instance, claims to show the Deep Blue version of the next iPhone (whose name is not known yet, but there are big chances that it won’t be called iPhone 7, with Apple planning to save this designation for next year’s 10th anniversary celebration model).
Dual-camera system and clear back
The gallery at the end of the article includes photos coming from China and depicting the Plus version of the upcoming iPhone painted in Deep Blue, although depending on light conditions, it can easily be mistaken for a darker gray. This might actually make sense, given the aforementioned rumors, and Apple might only introduce a new version that looks different, depending on the amount of light.
As you can see, this alleged leak confirms that the Plus model will launch with a dual-camera system while the smaller version will only come with a bigger camera, but just a single lens. Additionally, the antenna lines are now placed at the top and the bottom of the phone, thus providing a clear back.
While it’s hard to say if these photos are accurate or not, we do know that iPhone buyers would love new color versions of the device, especially because the existing ones have been around for a while (except for the Rose Gold, which has been introduced with the 6s).
