14 DAY TRIAL // Skybound Games, the company that revived The Walking Dead video game series, has just announced the immediate availability of The Telltale Definitive Series, a comprehensive bundle that includes all four seasons of the multi-awarded game series.
The bundle is now available for $50/€50 as a physical boxed product at retail for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as digitally on the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Xbox One Store, and the Epic Game Store for Windows PC (sorry, Steam fans).
Although many of us already own one, two or all four seasons of The Walking Dead series, there are still people who haven't had the will to finish the saga. For those, Skybound Games is making The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series available on all platforms. Besides the four seasons of the series, the bundle includes The Walking Dead: Michonne and several digital bonuses.
In case you're wondering, the bundle should offer more than 50 hours of gameplay across 23 unique episodes, as well as more than 10 hours of developer commentary, behind-the-scenes bonus features including concept and character art galleries.
Also, some additional content like “Return of The Walking Dead” short documentary, faithful recreations of classic menus, and a music player with over 140 musical tracks are bundled in the package too. Last but not least, the collection includes the application across all seasons and content of “graphic black,” an art style that pays homage to The Walking Dead comics and was previously only available for The Final Season.
If you read the list of platforms, you'll notice that Nintendo's Switch console is missing from the initial release. According to Skybound Games, the second and third seasons of the series – The Walking Dead: Season Two and The Walking Dead: A New Frontier – will be released on Nintendo Switch at a later date, making all four seasons available on the Nintendo eShop in the future.
And for audiophiles, Skybound Games is bringing The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Soundtrack, featuring over 160 songs from all four seasons of the series to all major digital music stores and streaming services, including Google Play, Amazon, iTunes, and Spotify. A vinyl version of the soundtrack is available for pre-order exclusively via Skybound.com.
