Razer has a lot of products in its library, but most of them are somehow related to the gaming industry. Now, the company is preparing to build the first Razer Toaster, honoring the community’s persistence.

Razer is always looking for a niche to fill with its Chroma enabled hardware, and the company also garnered a reputation for building quality products. Razor thirst to release new products also emboldened the community to ask for something new.

In case you missed it, the RGB trend is taking over the PC market, slowly but surely. More and more devices now come with support for this trend, and Razer is one of the companies that got on board early on.

RGB that makes no sense

After companies added RGB to everything they could, what else is left? Razer fans saw this opportunity early on, and back in 2013 a Facebook page named Give us the Razer Toaster was launched.

Back then, Razer’s CEO Min-Liang Tan said that if the page gets one million like, the company is going to oblige. The page now sits at 45,000 likes, but each individual that got a Razer Toaster tattoo was counted as 100,000 likes, and now 12 people are going around with some weird tattoos.

“Alright - I didn't think these guys were going to make it - but they did. It was to hit 1M likes and with each Razer Toaster tattoo being equivalent to 100K likes each....and they now have 12 Razer Toaster tattoos. Well....what can I say. I've just officially liked their page - and I'm going to put together my team of designers and engineers. It will take a few years - but I'll be sure to share the progress - and make it a community affair,” said Min-Liang Tan on Facebook.

For now, the Razer Toaster is just an idea, but it might catch on. Razer could end up selling a ridiculous number of toasters, and the company could begin building other stuff with the Razer logo. Who knows?

It’s going to take a while to get the Razer Toaster, but we now know it’s coming and that should be more than enough to satisfy the community.
