Obsidian's most recent RPG, The Outer Worlds has already made its debut on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, but the developer promised to bring their game to Nintendo Switch as well. Originally slated for a March release, the Switch version of The Outer Worlds will finally arrive on June 5.

More importantly, those who have waited for the game for such a long time will be able to pre-order The Outer Worlds through the Nintendo eShop for $60 / €60 / £50. To hype up the upcoming launch of their game on the Switch, developer Obsidian and publisher Private Division have decided to release some screenshots of this specific version The Outer Worlds.

Don't expect the game to look and play like the PC version, but if a Nintendo Switch is all you can afford, or you simply favor this platform above all else, you'll have to make some compromises. Although we do see what the game will look like on the Switch, we can't wait to see how well it is running on Nintendo's less powerful console.

Now, if your body is ready for the game, make sure that your Nintendo Switch is at least just as ready. The Outer Worlds requires nearly 10GB of storage, which isn't that much compared with other RPGs like The Witcher 3 that take out all the console's internal memory.

Meanwhile, Obsidian is preparing to launch a demo of its next game, Grounded, less than a week after the Switch release of The Outer Worlds. The Grounded demo will be available from June 9 until June 14 and will be listed on Steam during that time.

Unlike The Outer Worlds, Grounded isn't a story-driven RPG, but a multiplayer survival where players control children shrunken down to the size of ants. The game is scheduled to enter Steam Early Access on July 28, but Grounded will be free for Xbox Game Pass subscribers on PC and Xbox One.
