After spending a year on the Epic Games Store and Xbox Game Pass, The Outer Worlds is finally making its debut on Steam. To celebrate the launch of the game on Valve's digital distribution store, Obsidian and Private Divison revealed that the game will be available on Steam with a special price of $30/€30 for a limited time.

It's important to mention that it's not just the base game that's now available on Steam, but Peril on Gorgon as well, The Outer Worlds' first DLC launched not long ago. Peril on Gorgon is also available individually or as part of The Outer Worlds Expansion Pass. Furthermore, fans of new IP can purchase The Outer Worlds' original soundtrack on Steam too.

Those who can afford it can grab the whole package by purchasing The Outer Worlds: Non-Mandatory Corporate-Sponsored Bundle, which includes the base game, expansion pass, and soundtrack bundled together for additional savings.

In the same piece of news, publisher Private Division announced that The Outer Worlds is now available on GOG.com as well, and it's got the same 50% discount.

For newcomers to Obsidian's masterpiece, The Outer Worlds was created by co-game directors Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky, original creators of Fallout, who reunited for this new single-player RPG, and from the renowned team at Obsidian, developers of Fallout: New Vegas, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II, South Park: The Stick of Truth, and the Pillars of Eternity franchise.

Many have been referring to The Outer Worlds as the Fallout game that we've been expecting Bethesda to build for a long time but without the usual bugs. The game received raving reviews from all major outlets and has been part of Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass since its launch. It's time for The Outer Worlds to be exposed to newer audiences.
