14 DAY TRIAL // Peril on Gorgon, the first narrative-led expansion for Obsidian's RPG, The Outer Worlds, is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Peril on Gorgon will make its debut on Nintendo Switch as well, just not at this time.
Those who already own The Outer Worlds Expansion Pass will receive Peril on Gorgon for free, as well as the second expansion set to launch in the first half of 2021, Murder on Eridanos. Players who don't own the Expansion Pass can purchase Peril on Gorgon separately for $15. The Expansion Pass costs $25 and gives you access to both expansion, so it's the better deal if you plan on playing everything The Outer Worlds universe has to offer.
Peril on Gorgon takes players in a completely new location, the Gorgon Asteroid, where they will have to investigate what's behind the cryptic message that called them on this remote scientific location.
Players will get to explore deep canyons, decrepit laboratories, and abandoned research facilities in their attempt to piece together the clues that hold the truth behind one of the darkest secrets within the Spacer's Choice corporation.

With Peril on Gorgon, players (and their favorite crew members!) can explore an exciting new location filled with intrigue and threats, and they can uncover dangerous secrets about Spacer’s Choice,” said Carrie Patel, Game Director at Obsidian Entertainment.
Besides a new compelling story, Peril on Gorgon brings a host of new gameplay features, such as an increase of the level cap for more flexibility in skill customization, as well as new perks and flaws. In addition, the expansion adds three new science weapons and a variety of new armor sets.
Keep in mind that if you have an Xbox Game Pass subscription, you can play The Outer Worlds for free, but you will still have to pay for Peril on Gorgon if you want to check out the expansion.
