Apple is getting ready for a rather exciting event in the spring, as the company has plenty of devices to launch this time, according to a recent report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.

If Apple’s typical fall event is the one most people are super-excited about, the spring party is likely to generate a lot of buzz anyway, as it will witness the debut of several new products.

The first of them is the new iPhone SE, which will launch alongside the iPad Air 5, and a new 27-inch iMac powered by Apple Silicon.

Apple is planning big changes on the iPhone front this year.

First and foremost, the company plans to kill off the 5.4-inch form factor in September, as the new iPhone lineup will no longer include the iPhone mini.

To make sure it still has an up-to-date small iPhone on the market, Apple is giving the iPhone SE a refresh in the spring. Often referred to as the iPhone SE 3, this new device will bring massive hardware upgrades, though it could end up leaving a lot to be desired in terms of looks.

This is because the new iPhone SE will look just like the current model, which means it’ll be based on the design of the iPhone 8. It will still come with Touch ID and a home button, and obviously, it won’t feature a notch with integrated Face ID.

On the other hand, the device is likely to sport an A15 Bionic processor, as well as a RAM upgrade and improved cameras. But the screen will continue to be the old-school 4.7-inch LCD display that’s already available on the current iPhone SE.

The event will take place in the spring, most likely in March or April, with all devices to go on sale shortly after the unveiling.
