If you’re an indie developer, October and November are definitely months that you want to avoid launching your game. This is one of the busiest parts of the year when it comes to triple A game releases. With new God of War, Warhammer and Pokemon games coming next month, November 2022 is clearly no exception to the rule.

Without further ado, here is what to expect from November 2022 in terms of new game releases. The first games drop very early next month, as new titles like The Past Within (PC), Wandering Duelist (PC), Shatter Remastered Deluxe (PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch), and Doraemon Story of Seasons: Friends of the Great Kingdom (PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch) arrive on November 2.

One day later, we have even more games coming to PC and consoles: The Chant (PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S), Kingshunt (Steam Early Access), The Entropy Centre (PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S), Honey, I Joined a Cult (PC), From Space (PC, Nintendo Switch), Outshine (PC), Desperate: Vladivostok (PS VR), Space Tail: Every Journey Leads Home (PC, Nintendo Switch), Die by the Blade (PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S), and Ghost Song (PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch).

Just two new games are scheduled to arrive on November 4: Harvestella (PC, Nintendo Switch) and It Takes Two (Nintendo Switch). The first week of November ends with Soulstone Survivors, which enters Steam Early Access on the 7th.

The first major release of November 2022, Sonic Frontiers is set for release for PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on November 8. Three other completely different games are expected to arrive on the same day: A Little to the Left (PC), Land of the Vikings (Steam Early Access) and Football Manager 2023 (PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox One).

Probably the biggest launch of the year, God of War Ragnarok has already been confirmed for release on November 9, so I hope you’ve already placed your pre-orders to jump into the game as it gets unlocked in less than two weeks.

Darq is getting re-released in the Ultimate Edition form, which will be available on PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on November 9. Three other indie titles are coming on November 10: Shadow of the Guild (PC), Fabular: Once Upon a Spacetime (Steam Early Access), and Robo Legend (PC).

JRPG fans rejoice, as Square Enix’s Tactics Ogre: Reborn lands on (PC, PlayStation 4/5, and Nintendo Switch on November 11. Two additional titles will be released on the same day: Titan Station (PC) and Hidden Through Time: Definite Edition (PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch).

Obsidian next game after Grounded is a completely different genre. Pentiment is an adventure RPG that focuses on narrative and should be available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on November 15. Floodland (PC) and Bravery and Greed (PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch are also scheduled for release on November 15.

FPS (first-person shooter) fans will be able to pick up and play Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 on PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S starting November 16.

We’ve just reached the middle of the month, but the games releases won’t slow down. Another important game launch, Goat Simulator 3 is set to arrive on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on November 17, alongside Starsand (PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S), My Fantastic Ranch (PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch), and Oakenfold (PC).

Ys 8: Lacrimosa of Dana is getting a PlayStation 5 release on November 18, so if you like the series and have been waiting for this specific title to drop on your favorite gaming platform, you won’t have to wait too long now.

The next title in the The Dark Pictures Anthology series, The Devil in Me lands on PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S and November 18. On the same day, Sony’s previously PlayStation exclusive Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be released on PC.

Next month is bringing important games for every gaming platform, so Nintendo fans haven’t been forgotten. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is coming to Nintendo Switch) on November 18. A much smaller title, Heidelberg 1693, is scheduled to arrive on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on the same day.

After a 4-day pause, the games releases resume with four new titles dropping on November 22: Evil West (PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S), 22 Racing Series (Steam Early Access), Gungrave G.O.R.E (PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S), and Ship of Fools (PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch).

MMORPG aficionados haven’t been forgotten either, as Blizzard’s next major World of Warcraft expansion, Dragonflight is set for release on November 28. The Knight Witch is coming to PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on November 29, followed by another big release, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, which is coming to PC on November 30.

Garfield Lasagna Party (PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch) is supposed to end the month, but there’s one other game that has a rather generic “November” release window, so expect Saint Kotar (PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch) to be launched sometime next month too.
