Although this month has been pretty rich when it comes to game releases, March shapes up to be even richer. With at least a few dozen games expected to be launched on various platforms, March will probably be one of the most prolific months of the year. Unfortunately, fans of triple A games will find March a bit lacking in that department, but at least the few big-budget games coming next month are almost certainly going to be hits.

Aside from the throng of indie games coming out next month, it’s worth noting that Blizzard will run a Diablo IV beta between March 17-19. If you’ve already pre-ordered the game, you’ll have access to the beta earlier, otherwise you’ll have to wait a few more days.

That being said, let’s start with March 1, the day the first games of the month are set to arrive. No less than four titles are expected to be released on the first day of March: The Day Before (PC), Fight'N Rage (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S), Alephant (PC), and LEAP (PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S).

Two new games arrive on the second day of March – King of the Castle (PC) and Meg’s Monster (PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch), followed by the first big release of the month, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty (PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S).

If you’re not into soulslike games, you’ll have to wait a few more days for another wave of new games. Hotel Renovator (PC), Romancelvania (PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S), The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition (PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S), and Pronty (Nintendo Switch) are all coming out on March 7.

Next up we have Paranormasight: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo, which launches on  PC and Nintendo Switch on March 8, followed by Project Zero (Fatal Frame): Mask of the Lunar Eclipse (PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch), Figment 2: Creed Valley (PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch), Clash: Artifacts of Chaos (PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S), Do Not Feed the Monkeys 2099 (PC), and The Last Spell (PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch) the next day.

We’re not even half in and the number of game releases is quite impressive. On March 10, DC’s Justice League: Cosmic Chaos is expected to arrive on PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch, alongside another indie title called Mato Anomalies, which launches on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on March 10.

A few days later, several new games are coming out, including Rough Justice: ‘84 (PC) on March 13, as well as Valheim (Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S), The Wreck (PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch), and Hell of an Office (Steam Early Access) on March 14.

Only one game release marks the half of the month, Flooded, which will be released on PC on March 15. Two other games are scheduled for launch on March 16, including Post Void (PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch) and Ubisoft’s Anno 1800, which is getting a console release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

WWE fans will be happy to know that the next installment in the series is coming to PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on March 17. Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon is another important game coming to Nintendo Switch on March 17.

Moving beyond the half of the month, Peppa Pig: World Adventures is coming to PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch) on March 17, alongside Toy Tactics (Steam Early Access).

Developer Gunfire Games has already announced the sequel to Remnant: From the Asher, but Nintendo Switch owners will be able to play the original game starting March 21. The highly anticipated indie game Tchia finally launches on PC and PlayStation 4/5 on March 21, alongside Deceive Inc. (PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S).

The last week of the month is just as crowded with even more games expected to be launched on PC and consoles. For starters, Storyteller is coming to PC and Nintendo Switch on March 23, and so is Grappin, although the latter will only be available on PC.

Another major release of the month, Resident Evil 4, arrives on PC, PlayStation 4/5, and Xbox Series X/S on March 24. Out of the Park Baseball 24 launches for PC on March 24, followed by 9 Years of Shadows (PC) on March 27.

No less than four games are set for release on March 28, including two major titles. First off, there’s MLB The Show 23, which is coming to PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. Then, The Last of Us Part 1 is finally coming to PC. Two other indie titles, Death Roads: Tournament – (Steam Early Access) and Crime Boss: Rockay City (PC) will be released on the same day, March 28.

Announced last week, the second major expansion for Forza Horizon 5, Rally Adventure, launches on March 29 on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. First-person fantasy action RPG Raidborn launches in Steam Early Access on March 29, followed by no less than seven other games.

The most important one, Ravenbound, launches on PC on March 30. Then, we have Total Tank Generals (PC), Mayhem in Single Valley (PlayStation 4/5), The Great War: Western Front (PC), Dredge (PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch), and Saga of Sins (PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch).

We’re still waiting for an announcement regarding the full-fledged remake of the cult classic System Shock action-adventure game from 1994. Developer Nightdive Studios confirmed the game will be launched on PC in March, but didn’t reveal the exact date yet.

Unless we’re going to any shadow drops like Hi-Fi Rush or similar surprises, these are some of the most important games coming out in March, so prepare your budget accordingly.
