2020 is supposed to be the year of the next-generation consoles, but the important games won't come until next year. So, it's no wonder that January will be the quietest month of 2020 when it comes to video game releases.

There are few important titles worth highlighting this month and most of them are games that have already been released on PC and are now making their way to consoles. For example, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion will be released on PC on January 9 after PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players got the game in early September 2019.

The Blind Prophet, a point'n'click adventure game where you play an apostle, comes out on PC on January 10. Also, if you didn't have the chance to play the first Atelier games, you'll be happy to know that the Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Pack releases on PC, PlayStation 4 and Switch on January 14. The pack contains three separate games: Atelier Ayesha – The Alchemist of Dusk DX, Atelier Escha & Lodgy – Alchemists of the Dusk Sky DX, and Atelier Shallie – Alchemists of the Dusk Sea DX.

Bandai Namco's Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is scheduled for release on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 17, while Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection lands on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on January 21.

After making to PC last year, the horror adventure Moons of Madness arrives on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 21, while the Re Mind DLC for Kingdom Hearts 3 releases on consoles on January 23/25.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered Edition is a spin-off of the Final Fantasy series, which was first released for the GameCube in 2003 in Japan. The remastered version will be launched on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on January 23.

Warcraft III: Reforged should have been released on PC last month, but Blizzard announced it needs more time for polish. Now the game is scheduled to launch at the end of the month on January 28. On the same day, Obsidian is bringing its RPG masterpiece, Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire to consoles.

Two other titles that haven't received exact release dates yet, Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls (PC) and Cook, Serve, Delicious 3 (PC, PS4, Xbox One, Switch), are expected to arrive by the end of January.
