14 DAY TRIAL // On the heels of The Last of Us Part II release date announcement, Sony revealed the games that will be part of the next month's PlayStation Plus lineup. Unsurprisingly, The Last of Us Remastered will be one of the game that PS Plus subscribers will be able to download for free next month.
If you haven't yet played the original The Last of Us game, now would a good time to address that problem. One of the best action games of all time, The Last of Us takes place 20 years after a pandemic has completely changed the civilization, where infected humans run rampant and survivors are killing each other for food and weapons.
In the first game, players take the role of Joel, a violent survivor who is hired to smuggle a 14-year old girl, Ellie, out of a military quarantine zone. The Remastered contains one DLC – The Last of Us: Left Behind that focuses on the relationship between Ellie and Riley, her best friend.
Along with Naughty Dog's masterpiece, baseball fans will have the chance to try out MLB The Show 2019 from San Diego Studio. The game lets sports fans relive the biggest MLB moments in history with Moments, where they can recreate the most famous plays and showdowns in baseball history.
On top of that, Sony announced that new content for MLB The Show 10 will be released in October, which includes the legendary Ted Williams. Players will also be able to unlock rewards by reliving moments from the 2019 Postseason and the most memorable moments of all time.
Last but not least, the developers will offer free in-game content for those who download and log into the game during the month of October. Five free packs that include a Diamond player and equipment for their created players in Road to Show will be given to gamers playing MLB The Show 2019 next month.
Both The Last of Us Remastered and MLB The Show 19 will be available to download from PlayStation Store between October 1 and November 4, or you can add them to your library and download them later.
