While Windows 10 is no longer Microsoft’s main focus, as all eyes are on Windows 11 these days, the software giant will continue to service the operating system until October 2025.
As a result, every Patch Tuesday brings new cumulative updates and security patches for Windows 10 devices, and the December 2022 rollout made no exception.
The software giant has shipped a new batch of cumulative updates for Windows 10 devices, and needless to say, users still running the operating system are recommended to download and install them as soon as possible.
The main reason is that these updates go live on a Patch Tuesday, which means the main focus was on security improvements and patches.
Here’s the full list of cumulative updates available for Windows 10 devices right now:
- Windows 10 version 1507 — KB5021243 (OS Build 10240.19624)
- Windows 10 version 1607 — KB5021235 (OS Build 14393.5582)
- Windows 10 version 1703 — EOS
- Windows 10 version 1709 — EOS
- Windows 10 version 1803 — EOS
- Windows 10 version 1809 — KB5021237 (OS Build 17763.3770)
- Windows 10 version 1903 — EOS
- Windows 10 version 1909 — EOS

- Windows 10 version 20H2, 21H1, 21H2, and 22H2 — KB5021233 (OS Builds 19042.2364, 19043.2364, 19044.2364, and 19045.2364)
Worth knowing is that this new Patch Tuesday was actually the last one of Windows 10 version 21H1, as this particular release has reached the end of support. Users are therefore recommended to move to a newer version of Windows 10 as soon as possible.
“All editions of Windows 10, version 21H1 are at end of service on December 13, 2022. After this December 13, 2022 update, these devices will not receive monthly security and quality updates. These updates contain protections from the latest security threats. To continue receiving security and quality updates, we recommend that you update to the latest version of Windows,” Microsoft says.
