The game is facing all sorts of delays and issues

The Division is one of the most anticipated open-world action-RPG titles for 2016, and it’s a project that’s been through a lot, including some delays. It now looks that the upcoming Beta test supposed to take place in the coming days has been postponed.

The Division promised a lot right from the start and users are already starting to wonder whether Ubisoft will be able to deliver on the promise. It’s a game built on a brand-new engine called Snowdrop, and if at least half of the expansive world that we’ve seen during the trailer is actually true, it will be an awesome title.

The developers have already postponed the game, and now the launch date for it is March 8, 2016. With the recent delay for the Beta, the community is now wondering what’s really happening. Most likely, the server infrastructure for this online game is proving too much, or maybe it’s just that revolutionary.

It’s not clear why all of these delays are happening, but they are adding to the hype and it’s making the job of the developers much harder.

The Division Beta is only for a select few

From the looks of it, Ubisoft had to postpone the Beta for some internal reasons, but the users who already preordered the Xbox One version of the game had a Beta promised, so they are going to get access to an upcoming closed Alpha from December 9 to 12.

“We know many of you have been patiently awaiting the arrival of The Division Beta, and we appreciate your patience as the team remains committed to delivering an open-world action-RPG experience that exceeds your expectations on March 8, 2016. With that in mind, we’re changing some of our beta plans to reach that goal, and your participation plays an important part,” reads the Ubisoft blog.

As usual, players who will get access to the closed Alpha won’t be able to take screenshots, videos, or even talk about the game, so that’s going to be incredibly fun.
