The team at Ubisoft Massive in charge of The Division is announcing that it will bring the servers that power the video game down for maintenance starting at 9 AM Central European Time, which is the equivalent of 4 AM Eastern Daylight Time and 1 AM Pacific Daylight Time.

According to the official forum thread, the plan is for the downtime to last around three hours, and more information will be offered to the player base if there are plans to extend it and when the core features of the title are back up.

The Division will have weekly maintenance periods, but it seems clear that they will not take place on the same day or during the same hours.

The team at Ubisoft has deployed tweaks to the core game mechanics during the previous downtime, and it might do the same tomorrow although the company has not talked about any outstanding issues that it wants to fix as quickly as possible.

The player community for The Division has been very active since the game arrived and has been talking about the changes that could improve the overall experience, with a massive post on Reddit talking about the way the Dark Zone area could be made more exciting while also adding more balancing.

The Division is also preparing for the launch of Incursions

The first big free update for the shooter is set to arrive before the end of the month, and the biggest feature will be a new game mode, which is designed for a high-level group of four players who are interested in facing tougher enemies for the promise of better rewards.

Incursions will be added to The Division regularly, and the first one is called Falcon Lost and is designed to appeal to players who have reached 150 gear level and are ready for a new challenge.

In May a new free update will arrive, and starting in June Ubisoft is planning to introduce paid downloadable content packs for its title, the first two of which will be offered with a 30-day exclusivity period for those playing on the Xbox One.

Underground is designed to add tunnels and a new faction to battle against, gamers will get a new mode in Survival, and in 2017 the developers are introducing The Last Stand, which is mysterious but will likely significantly revamp some elements of The Division.
