The developers at Massive working on The Division are ready to deliver another patch for the multiplayer shooter during the on-going maintenance period for the video game, which is designed to eliminate a number of glitches that players have found recently and which affected the title in negative ways.

When the servers go back up, gamers will be able to use Protection from Elites normally, without getting virtual immunity from powerful enemies, and gamers will no longer be able to shoot at enemies associated with the Falcon Lost incursion while standing outside the area it covers.

There are two other bugs that the developers are eliminating in order to improve the overall balance of The Division, with the Ubisoft team saying that it is committed to working with the community in order to eliminate any other issues it finds.

Falcon Lost is the first incursion that has been added to the video game, designed for high-level players who want to confront a powerful set of enemies in order to then get access to some solid rewards for their character.

Another such incursion will be introduced in the coming May free update for the video game, although a full set of new features has not yet been revealed.

The Division is getting the Underground DLC in June

The development team has been repeatedly warning gamers not to engage with the glitches that the community discovers because it affects the overall state of the game and Ubisoft is planning to deliver more information about its anti-cheating measures and overall philosophy about the issue before the end of the week.

The team needs to keep The Division as free from problems as possible in order to keep gamers playing, and given the success of the title, there are many problems that need to be addressed quickly.

In June, the title will receive its first paid downloadable content pack, called Underground, which will open up tunnels under New York City for gamers to explore and will introduce a new and powerful enemy faction to do battle against.

There are two other DLC deliveries set to arrive this year, each of them expanding one area of The Division, with the first two set to arrive early for gamers who are playing on the Xbox One from Microsoft.

The new Massive title has been the best performing Tom Clancy video game that Ubisoft ever launched and dominated the NPD Group software sales chart for March.
