Ubisoft has warned players not to engage with exploits

The Division is very popular with gamers at the moment and all that time spent playing the Ubisoft multiplayer shooter means that there are plenty of new glitches and exploits that the community is discovering and then using to make the entire experience easier for those who are not uncomfortable with breaking the game.

A newly discovered glitch allows players to get access to more credits than they normally would by simply quickly switching between gear items, this time around kneepad armor, and then using the Prosperous talent.

This means that enemies will deliver more money when they are headshoted, which can then be used to get access to high-end weapons that in turn can be used by those who have no better options or can be broken down to get access to materials.

Another glitch associated with The Division allows players to take out the tougher enemies in the shooter with only a few shots, as long as they use a marksman rifle with the Competent talent and then switch quickly between it and another weapon before using a skill to increase their damage.

Ubisoft has not officially reacted to the new exploits, but it has moved fast in the past to eliminate those that the community flagged, and some used to gain an advantage.

The Division is preparing for another free content drop

According to the development team, the plan is to also punish those players who use exploits to improve their character and their loadout, although the company has not yet said exactly how it plans to do that.

There are some players of The Division, who claim that there should be no punishment for exploiting game loopholes, with a rather spirited discussion about the issues on the official forums.

Recently the company announced that it was offering Phoenix Credits to all those who were affected by the backpack bug, by the missing character issue or were unable to get rewards for the daily missions that Ubisoft did not run for three days.

Ubisoft needs to deal with all game problems as quickly as possible to keep the community engaged and a new content drop for The Division is planned for next month.

The company is aiming to introduce paid expansions for the shooter starting in June, when Underground will arrive, first on the Xbox One, to open up a new area and to introduce a powerful enemy faction.
