The uninspiredly named Title Update 3 for Tom Clancy's The Division 2 has arrived and contains something for everyone.

When major updates arrive for PvE games like The Division 2, there’s a fear in the community that their favorite weapons and gear are going to be nerfed, somehow. It’s always happening, but it looks like The Divison 2 players managed to dodge the bullet, at least this time.

In fact, so many good things have been implemented by this update that we’re left wondering just much time people will get before the nerf hammer comes down. With complex updates that introduce a lot of unknowns, some adjustments are inevitable.

Too much to mention everything

Title 3 is a massive update and has over 6Gb on PC. The main bulk seems to be made out of Operation Dark Hours, which is a new 8-player co-op experience that’s entirely new to the series. Everything was done in teams of four, but the new set up is going to provide some memorable battles.

“Operation Dark Hours is our first 8-player raid coming to Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. Teamwork, collaboration, and adaptation will be necessary to defeat the Black Tusk. More information and exact opening times will be revealed soon.”

The "soon" part is an interesting one. Because the new update introduces quite a few impressive things, Ubisoft didn’t want to add the Dark Hours raid at the same time. Players need a couple of days to adjust, so the new eight co-op raid is coming May 16.

Title 3 also changes the way the loot drops, meaning that players are not going to be bombarded with poor loot anymore even if they are at level cap. The way the upgrades work has been changed as well, and stats capping has been removed as well.

Another exciting addition is a new type of missions called Classified Assignments: The Fall of DC, which are available to Year 1 Pass holders. It’s accessible once a week, and the location only roughly is shown on the map.

You can check out below the entire list of changes and additions. Make sure to grab a cup of coffee; it’s a long read. While you’re at it make sure to check out the review for Tom Clancy's The Division 2.
