Android users obsessed with security know everything there is to know about the most popular password managers for mobile devices.

1Password is one of the many apps available on Android platform that allows users to store and protect their passwords. It's one of the best password managers in Google Play Store, but with the latest update, it got even better.

The new update brings a few major improvements and new features like Google's Material Design, as well as support for fingerprint sensor on devices powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

According to developers, “Material Design means so much more than that,” so expect extensive visual elements, not just new fonts and colors. The user interface is now cleaner and features more spacious layouts, a navigation drawer, and toolbars.

With the new update, 1Password can be unlocked with your fingerprint, using the sensor on your Android smartphone.

Users can now share info with a group

Also, developers have introduced a new feature called 1Password for Teams, so whether you are a team of 1 or 100, a family of 2 or 12, if you have information that you want to selectively share with others, this feature will be the safest and simplest way to do it.

The latest version of 1Password enables users to quickly add their 1Password for Teams account using the built-in QR code reader. Keep in mind that this feature is still in beta.

1Password developers also announced a few enhancements have been implemented in version 6, like Wi-Fi Sync, which has been significantly improved, from the internal (database optimization) to the external (the notifications the app shows you).

Furthermore, icons for categories and settings have been refreshed, and a new floating button has been introduced, which allows users to add new items.

You can now download 1Password for Android for free via Google Play store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 4.1 and up.
