In 1997, Jennifer Lopez married her first husband, backup dancer Ojani Noa. The marriage wouldn’t last more than a year, but headaches for JLo would. In fact, right now, she’s facing the very embarrassing possibility of having a private tape she and Noa made on their honeymoon be made public.

Noa has been trying to release the tape for years, so Lopez has been spending millions on lawyers to block him from doing so. Noa’s business partner Ed Meyer recently found a loophole that allows him to put out the material without fear of being sued and taken to the cleaners by Lopez and her attorneys.

“We have unfinished business”

From Noa’s actions, it’s clear that the divorce was not an amicable one. Jennifer never publicly addressed what happened between them to make him seek vengeance on her by exposing her to the world like this, but he did trash her in a few interviews.

Meyer, his business partner, is determined to solve all this “unfinished business” by showing the world who Jennifer really is, he promises InTouch Magazine.

So he will release the private tape, which includes footage of an explicit nature from the singer and Ojani’s honeymoon, and also scenes of Jennifer’s fights with her mother Guadalupe, over money she was giving her to feed a gambling addiction.

“We are going to produce a DVD and also have a streaming release of the JLo home video footage,” Meyer says. “The videos contain salacious material and are going to shock her fans.”

The footage he will release won’t be the full material available, as the master tape has been locked away by a judge in 2011, when he ruled in favor of Jennifer and of not allowing the release to take place.

However, thanks to a loophole, Meyer is convinced that he will be able to put out at least certain segments from it.

Revenge is a dish best served very, very cold

This is a clear case when the saying would apply: rumor has it that Noa swore to get even with his now-worldwide-famous-ex through the release of the tape they made on their honeymoon, and 6 years later, here he is, ready to do that.

In his case, revenge is a dish best served very, very cold, but it would be a good idea not to get in a celebratory mood just yet. If Jennifer has been successful in blocking the release of the tape all these years, there’s no telling if she won’t be able to continue doing that.
