Great news for gamers who don't have anything against playing their favorite titles on smaller screens, as Telltale Games' popular Borderlands adventure game is now available for free on both Android and iOS platforms.

Tales from the Borderlands usually costs $25 on either of the two platforms, but for the next couple of days, the first episode of the series will be available for free.

If own an Android or iOS device and want to try it out, you can download Episode 1: Zer0 Sum without paying anything.

However, if you want to continue your adventure after you finish the first episode, which should take you around 90 minutes, then you will have to pay $5 for each episode after the first one.

There are a total of five episodes, but since the first one is free, you can get away paying just $20 for the entire game. You can get the next episodes via in-app purchases whenever you feel like it.

One of the best adventure games for mobile devices

Keep in mind, though, that you will be able to save over 20% on additional episodes in Tales from the Borderlands by purchasing the Season Pass that contains episodes 2-5 via in-app.

If you've never heard about Tales from the Borderlands, then you should know that the game was developed by the same studio that brought us The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead.

Before making your purchase, you should check the game's system requirements, which have been listed on the game's store page.

You can now download Tales from the Borderlands for Android for free via Google Play Store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.3.3 and up.

For iOS users, the game is available for download via App Store. It should work smoothly on all devices running iOS 7.1 or later.
