If you thought the company's previous models were cheap

TAG Heuer is not completely foreign to the smartwatch industry. The Swiss luxury watches company has already launched its Connected lineup of smartwatches for prices that beat Apple's watch.

However, if you thought that $1,500 or even $1,800 was too much to spend on a smartwatch, TAG Heuer has you all covered. The new TAG Heuer Connected smartwatch is now available in Rose Gold for no less than $9,900.

We're pretty sure TAG Heuer won't sell too many of these luxury smartwatches, but it doesn't need to. At that price, even if it sells a few per month for the rest of the year, we can consider it a success.

If you're familiar with TAG Heuer's Connected lineup, then it's worth mentioning that aside from the rose gold color, the most expensive smartwatch the company is now selling comes with some changes.

For example, the Rose Gold TAG Heuer Connect smartwatch comes with a brown leather band instead of the rubber strap that's included with the other models.

However, under the hood, it packs the same specs, including an Intel chipset, 1GB of RAM and a 410 mAh battery. The smartwatch features a 1.5-inch LCD display with sapphire crystal coating, and runs the usual Android Wear, just like the standard models.

If you can afford one, the Rose Gold Connected smartwatch will be available exclusively via TAG Heuer dealer, so you won't be able to order one online.

As mentioned earlier, TAG Heuer doesn't hope to sell too many of these smartwatches, but that's not even the plan. The Swiss company wants to make a statement and highlight the fact that it has the expertise to introduce some of the latest technologies into its watches, be it luxurious or not.

Obviously, this statement is not meant for us, ordinary people, but for those who can afford to pay $10,000 for a … smartwatch.
