DARQ: Complete Edition has just been confirmed for Nintendo Switch and next-generation consoles. Developer Unfold Games and publisher Feardmic announced they will bring the surrealist horror puzzler to Nintendo Switch on March 18, while PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S owners will get it one week later on March 25.

If you're on PC, DARQ: Complete Edition is already available for purchase via Steam for €16.79, but the next-gen and Nintendo Switch owners will have to pay $19.99 / £17.99 / €19.99 for the game. However, it's important to mention that owners of DARQ: Complete Edition on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be able to update to their respective next-gen editions for free, so that's a major benefit.

Of course, the next-generation version of DARQ: Complete Edition comes with many improvements. For example, both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game will be playable in cinematic mode at 4K resolution at 30fps, or in performance mode at 1800p resolution at 60fps. In addition to these visual and performance improvements, PlayStation 5 players will also benefit from the DualSense haptics feature.

In DARQ, players step into the shoes of Lloyd, a youngster who finds himself trapped in a lucid nightmare. Lloyd must face his fears and explore the darkest corners of his subconscious if he wants to escape to the waking world. The game features stealth mechanics, physics-defying exploration, and puzzles.

Last but not least, it's worth mentioning that DARQ: Complete Edition includes the original game, The Tower DLC, and The Crypt DLC, both of which continue Lloyd's nightmare in devious ways.

In case you're wondering, DARQ: Complete Edition can be played in English, Polish, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Portuguese - Brazil, Simplified Chinese, Dutch, Greek, Norwegian, Portuguese, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Hungarian.
