There’s no better time to get a Microsoft Surface Duo than right now, as Microsoft’s first-ever Android device has just received a major discount as part of the company’s Black Friday sale.

The original Surface Duo can be yours for no more, no less than $317 from Amazon, and needless to say, the price cut is only valid for Black Friday and as long as supplies last.

In other words, if you want to get your hands on a dual-screen Android device created by Microsoft at this unbelievable price, you should hurry up to order it from Amazon.

This is the lowest price of the Surface Duo since its launch, and while many might consider it an outdated device, it really isn’t.

Microsoft has recently released the update to Android 12L for both the Surface Duo and the Surface Duo 2, and needless to say, this major update comes with lots of improvements for the overall experience with the device.

Part of the whole thing is a visual refresh that’s inspired by Windows 11, as Microsoft is trying to bring its products closer together.

“Building a strong connection to Windows starts with aligning visual language for core system components across Windows and Android. With unified iconography, colors and UI controls, the Surface Duo feels familiar, an integral part of the wider Windows ecosystem. The visual alignment culminates in Surface Duo’s ‘Quick Settings’ and ‘System Settings,’ which pave the way for further functional alignment and raise expectations for increased cross-device operability,” Microsoft says.

“Powered by Android 12L’s new dynamic theming engine, users can personalize their experience with color palettes applied across the system, based on their selected wallpaper. As a part of the OS update, Surface Duo will feature four additional wallpapers that align with new Windows desktop backgrounds, offering tailored accent color options that bring the vibrancy of Windows to Android.”

The Black Friday discount is only available for U.S. buyers who order the Surface Duo from Amazon.
