14 DAY TRIAL // OnePlus 3 is now official, but aside from the powerful specs of the smartphone, the company has also released some impressive accessories to go with it. OnePlus 3 comes with protective cases, but the manufacturer seems to have dismissed StyleSwaps for the latest flagship.
Upon the release of OnePlus 2, the company has also released StyleSwaps to go with the device and add some customization options. These back covers allowed users to swap the traditional Sandstone back for another material.
StyleSwaps came in different wood colors, as well as carbon fiber. However, the OnePlus 3 launched today sports protective cases instead of StyleSwaps. OnePlus seems to follow in the footsteps of other major smartphone manufacturers providing additional accessories to go with their latest flagships.
OnePlus 3 comes with multiple protective cases
The protective cases are available in different materials, namely Bamboo, Rosewood, Black Apricot, Karbon and Sandstone. These models carry a price tag of $24.95 each, with the last one being a bit cheaper, at $19.95. The price is similar to those featured by most of the smartphone cases users would find on the market, regardless of the model.
The company states that the cases will provide users with additional protection for their smartphones. In addition, OnePlus has prepared some other accessories for the OnePlus 3, including an Otterbox case, which is considered to be much more powerful and offers some extra protection.
OnePlus has also released flip covers for the handset, which are available in sand, black and gray colors and carry a price tag of $19.95. OnePlus 3 comes with Dash Charge technology, which allows users to charge their smartphones faster. The Dash Charge car charger is priced at $29.95 while the tempered glass charger is up for sale for $12.95. All accessories are available on the OnePlus 3 website.
