The development team at Capcom is currently busy testing the network side of the coming Street Fighter V, but the company is also preparing some pre-order bonuses, and a Collector's Edition linked to the video game, both designed to appeal to long-term fans of the fighting game series.

Gamers who get the special version of the game package, which is at the moment only confirmed for North America, will have to pay 99.99 dollars (89.99 Euro) and will get a variety of both real-world and in-game content.

The Collector's Edition for Street Fighter V offers a game disk, a special fully painted Ryu statue, articulated and designed to show the character getting ready for his next important battle, a 48-page long hardcover artbook showing the best of the work artists have done on the title, codes for downloadable content, a comic book linked to the game and soundtrack sampler, and a one month Twitch subscription to the official Capcom Fighters channel.

Capcom says that the quantities offered will be limited and that it will reveal more details about the stores where gamers can pick it up in the coming months.

All gamers who get the Collector's Edition for Street Fighter V will also get access to the testing phase on their chosen platform.

The game offers pre-order costumes linked to four characters

Fans who do not want a special package but want to pay for Street Fighter V before it is launched can get access to new looks for some of the best-known characters from the series.

Those who place a pre-order at GameStop will be able to get a battle costume for Ryu, while Cammy is the star for those who choose to go with Best Buy.

For Amazon purchases, Capcom is offering access to a new look for M. Bison, and on both the PlayStation Store and at digital outlets for the PC, gamers will be able to use a new version of Chun-Li.

Gamers will be annoyed that each costume is linked to a retailer, but there's a solid chance that the publisher will offer all of them as separate purchases after the game is launched.

Street Fighter V will be offered in March of next year on the PlayStation 4 and the PC.
