14 DAY TRIAL // Hide your wallets and block your bank accounts 'cause it's that time of the year again! Valve kicked off its big Autumn Sale and there are literally thousands of games discounted until next week, so keep your wallets hidden or die trying.
In addition to the thousands of great games that are on discount, Steam users can now vote for the fourth-annual Steam Awards and nominate their favorite games across eight categories, and earn profile XP and badges for participating.
Nominations from those who vote will help determine the finalists for each category. Valve also announced that in December, we'll be able to vote on the winners for each category during the Steam Winter Sale, save a little bit of money for next month as well.
There are eight categories that you can vote for and the winners will be announced on December 31: The Game of the Year, The VR Game of the Year, The Labor of Love Award, The Better with Friends Award, The Most Innovative Gameplay Award, The Outstanding Story-Rich Game Award, The Best Game You Suck At Award and The Outstanding Visual Style Award.
After voting for all categories, you'll even be able to share your nominations with friends. You'll be able to earn four badges if you complete various tasks like nominating at least 1 game, nominating a game in each category, play a game you've nominated, and review (or update your review) for a game you've nominated.
And the best thing about voting for these nominations is that you can edit your vote until the sale ends, so if you change your mind, don't worry, you'll be able to update your nomination as many times as you wish.
It's worth mentioning that the Steam Autumn Sale will be available until December 3, 10 am PST, so make sure you buy anything you need by that time.
