For $120 you'll get the Season Pass and everything else

The price for the Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition has been announced, and it looks like it's a doozy, but that was to be expected. Depending on your region, the game will set you back for roughly $120 or €120 if you happen to live in Europe.

Electronic Arts is not a company that feels any shame when it comes to pricing, and it looks like they've taken a page out of the Battlefront book. They are going to ask $120 for the Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition, and it matters little that it's quite a lot.

We all know that most of us will pay that price for all the stuff that's being offered. Yes, we'll protest that it's too much and that EA is evil, but it's hard not to like Star Wars, despite everything that's been said about it.

So, what do you get with Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition?

This particular edition is supposed to have everything, and that is pretty much true, for the time being. If you buy it right now, you'll have access to Battle of Jakku (pre-order to play first), DL-44 blaster, as made famous by Han Solo (instant access), Ion Grenade (instant access), Ion Torpedo (instant access), Ion Shock (exclusive emote), and Victory (exclusive emote). Up until the last one, that's the configuration for the Deluxe Edition.

What set's the Ultimate Edition apart is the access to the Season Pass, but nothing is really known about it at this time, except that it costs pretty much like the base game.

Here is what Origin has to say about it: "Expand your galaxy with the Star Wars Battlefront Season Pass. Get 4 upcoming expansion packs filled with new content that will take you to new locations across a galaxy far, far away. Secure two-week early access to each expansion pack and an exclusive 'Shoot First' emote."

The game launches on November 19, 2015, for all supported platforms. It's also worth noting that PC gamers will only get this on Origin, so don't expect to see it on Steam or any other digital service.

There are also a number of things that gamers should know. Star Wars Battlefront doesn't have a single player campaign, dedicated servers on the PC, in-game voice support for PC, and space battles. And this is just the big stuff.
