Nobody is using tow cables against AT-AT

Star Wars: Battlefront has been out for a little more than three weeks, and it's still debated whether it is a success for Electronic Arts or not, but the publisher has released some interesting stats about what the gamers have been doing.

Discussions about the Star Wars Battlefront balancing had been ongoing long before the game went stable, and there are all sorts of theories out there. Since Electronic Arts and Dice are not saying much about these balancing problems, we can take a closer look at some of the official numbers to see if users are right.

Electronic Arts apparently gathers all data from the official servers and compiles it in a more meaningful way. It should be a really good tool for them so they can better balance the game, but it's not clear if they just like to show it off or they are actually doing something with it.

Star Wars: Battlefront players have clear preferences

Among all the numbers that have been crunched by Electronic Arts, two stand out. Let's say that you can choose beforehand a clear winner between Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Darth Vader, the freaking Sith Emperor, and Boba Fett; would you really pick the latter as the best of the bunch?

The community has been saying that Boba Fett is way overpowered, and the numbers from Electronic Arts are confirming this. The second problem spotted is that Speeded can take down and destroy AT-AT walker with cables, but that happened in less than 1% of cases. This means that either it's too hard to do it, or people don't know that it's possible. In any case, it's something that has to be corrected in the future.

Electronic Arts also released a new map named The Battle of Jakku, for free, last week. You can check the numbers in the graph below if you're curious to see what you have been doing wrong all this time.
