As a wide range of players are enjoying the beta period for Star Wars: Battlefront, the development team at DICE is ready to deliver a range of new details about the coming shooter, including some surprising info about the Season Pass that will cover incoming downloadable content.

Regardless of the platform on which a player picks it up, the price is set at 50 dollars or Euro.

In an official announcement, the company explains that a range of yet-unnamed DLC will be delivered, and no dates are yet offered, and those who get the Season Pass will be able to get access to all the content two days earlier than the general population.

They will also secure a unique Shoot First emote they can use in Star Wars: Battlefront.

Given the price of the Season Pass, it's probable that the development team at DICE is planning at least three DLC packs, which will probably introduce new maps as well as more modes and weapons for gamers to use.

Electronic Arts is also offering the most dedicated of gamers access to an Ultimate Edition for Star Wars: Battlefront, which includes all the content from the Deluxe Version as well as the Season Pass, and it can be obtained by players for no less than 120 dollars or Euro.

Hero Hunt, Cargo and Droid Run are the newly revealed modes

Star Wars: Battlefront features a variety of modes and the three mentioned above are the final ones that the development team is offering details on.

Hero Hunt is centered on the most powerful character of the universe, with one player becoming one of the heroes or villains and the other seven starting off as regular troopers.

Those who kill a Hero become him and the mode is built around allowing players to fulfill their Star Wars driven power fantasies.

Cargo for Star Wars: Battlefront is the DICE take on classic Capture the Flag, with teams trying to get into each other's bases in order to get access to cargo and return it to their own lair.

The twist is that gamers will not have to worry about protecting their own precious items, which means that only the quantity accumulated before the end of the match matters.

Finally, Droid Run is centered around three GNKs, which are present on the battlefield and need to be located and controlled before the end of the 10-minute round.

Six players are able to coordinate in order to complete the mission, but they will not be able to use Heroes and vehicles, which means careful communication and solid team work are required in order to have a shot at victory.

Star Wars: Battlefront is set to arrive on November 17 on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.

Gamers who place a pre-order will get access to the free Battle of Jakku DLC, which is linked to The Force Awakens, on December 1, and the rest of the community will have to wait an extra week for it.
