Major carrier Sprint has just announced it has added another affordable device to its portfolio of Android smartphones, the LG Tribute Duo. The new smartphone has been made available at Virgin Mobile, too. However, the device is known as LG Tribute 2.

LG Tribute 2 and LG Tribute Duo are one and the same, so it makes sense to be priced similarly. According to Sprint, customers will be able to pick either of the two for just $100 (plus tax) on prepaid.

As mentioned earlier, LG Tribute 2 and Tribute Duo feature the same specs and design is pretty similar, too. So, depending on which carrier your prefer, you can get one or the other.

Keep in mind though that both are equipped with 1.2GHz quad-core processors, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot.

The Tribute 2 and Tribute Duo ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box, along with LG's homegrown UI. Features specific to LG smartphones like Knock Code, Quick Memo+ and Gesture Shot are included as well.
