HTC announced four “premium” but “affordable” Android smartphones will be available for purchase in the US through all major carriers in the country.

Not all Desire series smartphones announced will go on sale at one carrier, instead they will be spread among various US carriers.

For example, the Desire 626 and Desire 520 will be available at Verizon. HTC Desire 626s and Desire 520 will go on sale at Cricket. AT&T will get the HTC Desire 626 as well, while T-Mobile and Sprint will offer the Desire 626s.

Even though we've been able to confirm where each Desire smartphone will be available, none of the carrier announced when they would launch their devices. Well, it looks like at least one carrier announced when it would launch the Desire 626s and how much it would cost.

Sprint customers will be pleased to know that their favorite carrier will begin selling the HTC Desire 626s on prepaid from July 19, AndroidAuthority reports.

The smartphone will cost only $130 (plus tax), but customers will only be able to grab the Marshmallow White color, as no other options are available for the moment.

At least you get Android 5.1 Lollipop

The Desire 626s has been confirmed to ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box and HTC Sense UI.

We also know that the smartphone will be equipped with a modest 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor, 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 200GB via microSD card slot.

Sprint also announced that its Desire 626s will pack a 5-inch Super LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.

Also, HTC's affordable smartphone comes with an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash and HD video recording, as well as a secondary 5-megapixel camera in the front.

Last but not least, HTC Desire 626s is powered by a 2,000 mAh battery and offers 4G LTE support along with Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi and GPS with AGPS.
