Ubisoft revealed that South Park: The Fractured But Whole is coming to Nintendo Switch in just a little over a month.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is one of the sleeper hits of 2017, although it shouldn’t be a surprise that it was a success. The game was developed by South Park Digital Studios, but the writer and director were none others than Trey Parker and Matt Stone.

It managed to cause a little bit of stir since it’s a real South Park experience, but people usually know what to expect when they are playing or watching something with that name. In fact, you just have to take a look at the title to figure out that it might not be for everyone. Let’s not forget that it’s rated PEGI 18.

Nintendo Switch is getting a lot of traction

Even if the lineup for Nintendo Switch was not great when the console was initially launched, publishers and developers have finally started to warm up to the new neighbor. More and more titles are getting ported or developed for the platform, and that a really good thing.

The same can be said about South Park: The Fractured But Whole, which was launched back in October 2017, and it already received a couple of DLCs, Danger Deck and From Dusk Till Casa Bonita.

Of course, the Nintendo Switch players will have to get the Season Pass, like everyone else to get their hands on the DLCs. And they will get the last DLC called Bring the Crunch along with everyone else when it arrives this summer.

“As the sun sets on the quiet Colorado town, terror, havoc, and chaos are unleashed as the seedy underbelly of the city comes alive. The town needs new heroes to come to the rescue. Eric Cartman seizes the opportunity to save the town and create the best superhero franchise ever, his own Coon and Friends, with himself, The Coon, as the leader.” It’s a simple, yet powerful driver for the story.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole will arrive on Nintendo Switch on April 24.
