Last week, Sony’s upcoming flagship phone, Xperia F8331, leaked in a batch of images that revealed its front and back panels. The pictures were especially interesting since they showed some new design elements that Sony incorporated in this upcoming device.

The handset seems to have the front panel covered in glass, which is slightly curved to the sides. The back panel comes with a dual-LED flash layout and a separate panel that should be an antenna cutout.

Word is that the smartphone could sport 4K video recording cameras placed both on the front and back. What this means is that the upcoming device will have the capacity to record high-resolution videos.

The new images show the design of Xperia F8331

New pictures of the Sony Xperia F8331 have just leaked at Xperian, showing the front and back of the smartphone, but this time, the display is turned off. The device seems to have a protective cover on its screen, and its camera setup and the Xperia logo are also revealed in the images depicting the back of the phone.

Unfortunately, the photos don't come with any details on specs that should be expected on the upcoming device. Sony Xperia F8331 recently passed through GFXBench, and some of its specs were revealed there. At this point, it's unsure what the name of the phone will be. Nevertheless, we do expect the device to pack a Snapdragon 820 and have a screen size of 5.1 inches with 1080p resolution.

The device could have Adreno 530 graphics processing unit and provide with 3GB of RAM, as well as 32GB of internal memory, and possibly the option to expand to more using a microSD card. In addition, it could have a 21MP rear camera and a 12MP one on the front. The device could feature a USB Type-C port at the bottom and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Word is that Sony might release this flagship during IFA conference, to be held in September in Berlin.
