First off, the Digital Deluxe Edition is much more expensive than the standard edition. Secondly, it comes with a bunch of in-game items that are aimed at newcomers to the game.
Sony announced today that Demon's Souls Digital Deluxe Edition will be available for purchase for no less than $90 / €100, that's $20 / €20 more expensive than the regular version of the game. If you're willing to pay that much for a game, you'll be getting tons of in-game items that will help you in your journey throughout the kingdom of Boletaria.
Without further ado, here is what the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game includes: Legendary Hero Soul, Renowned Warrior Soul, Storied Warrior Soul, Red-Eye Knight Armor, Boletarian Royalty Armor, Ritual Blade, Hoplite Shield, Ring of Longevity, Preservation Grains, Phosphorescent Grains, Bearbug Grains, Large Hardstone Shard, and Moonlightstone Shard.
The first items in the list will provide players with a consistent amount of souls that will help them level up their character at the beginning of their adventure. The gear items are there to make sure that your learning curve isn't as steep as it would normally sans the armor and weapon provided.
The original soundtrack of the game is also included in the Digital Deluxe Edition, the only thing that's not an in-game item. At the moment, it's unclear if the soundtrack will be offered as a separate purchase for those who don't purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition.
Finally, no matter what version of the game you decide to go for, you'll be getting a Reaper Scythe for pre-ordering Demon's Souls. Well, that's about it folks, so make sure you adjust your budget accordingly if you plan to get the newly unveiled Digital Deluxe Edition.
Demon's Souls is one of the not so many PlayStation 5 launch titles. Also, just like Spider-Man: Miles Morales, it's one of Sony's exclusives releasing in 2020. The game is coming out on PlayStation 5 on November 12, and will not be available on any other platform (not even on PlayStation 4).
