PlayStation 5 lucky owners will be happy to know that Sony is already offering free games for its new console to those who pay for the PlayStation Plus subscription service. The first-ever game for PlayStation 5 that gets added to the PS Plus library is Worms Rumble.

Worms Rumble will be available on PlayStation 4 too, so regardless of whether or not you've been able to secure a PS5, you'll be able to add it to your ever-growing PS Plus library. Worms Rumble is an arena-based 32 player cross-platform combat game, where players will be able to use a plethora of fan-favorite weapons, such as the Bazooka and Shotgun.

Team 17 is adding seasonal events all the time, but Worms Rumble players can also tackle daily challenges and community collaborations for additional XP and rewards. Worms Rumble also features some experimental game modes in The Lab, including Deathmatch and Battle Royale.

Another game added to PS Plus in December is Just Cause 4, an action-packed open-world sandbox game where the only goal is to cause as much chaos as possible. To help with that, players will have access to a wide selection of weaponry, vehicles, and gear, as they impersonate Rico Rodrigues, the iconic figure of the series.

Last but not least, Rocket Arena is the third the final PS Plus game coming in December. This is an online 3v3 shooter where players choose their favorite hero and try to win the match. Each hero comes with unique rockets and abilities, allowing players to choose the one that fits their playstyle.

Earning experience enables players to unlock Rocket Parts, Totem Parts, and cosmetic outfits to customize the look of their heroes. Also, the game features a handful of game modes with different goals, such as Rocketball, Mega Rocket, and Treasure Hunt.

In the same piece of news, Sony announced that non-PlayStation Plus members who own PS4 or PS5 games with active online multiplayer modes will be able to play them for a limited time in December. The Japanese company will be hosting a free online multiplayer weekend that will run from midnight local time Saturday, December 19 until 11:59 on Sunday, December 20.
