Sony Xperia Z3+ and Xperia Z4 have been plagued by overheating issues since their release on the market. That's quite understandable since they are in fact the same device with different names.

Unfortunately, the Japanese company hasn't been able to address these overheating issues that affect both smartphones. Despite this, Sony has just announced that the global rollout of Xperia Z3+ should commence very soon.

This means that Sony is certain that it can fix these overheating issues with the Xperia Z3+ and is not worried at all that more customers will buy a smartphone they sometime won't be able to use due to high temperature.

It's not even a week since a new video showing how the phone's camera app closes when certain modes are being used, leaked online.

A fix for these issues has been promised

It would have been better for Sony if the company managed to release the update they have been promising since the Xperia Z3+ hit shelves earlier this month, before actually making the smartphone available in more countries.

Anyway, those that are willing to risk having a high-end smartphone that has overheating issues may want to know what to expect from the Xperia Z3+ in terms of specs.

First of all, the smartphone will ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system right out of the box, but Sony already confirmed it would offer a 5.1.1 update soon.

On the inside, the Xperia Z3+ is equipped with a 64-bit 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, an Adreno 430 graphics processing unit and 3GB of RAM.

Although the smartphone packs 32GB of internal memory, users can further expand storage update to 128GB via microSD card slot.

Sony's new flagship smartphone comes with a 20.7-megapixel camera on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash and 4K video recording, as well as a secondary 5.1-megapixel camera in the front which should be perfect for selfies and video calls.

Another strong point of the Xperia Z3+ would be the 5.2-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and features scratch-resistant glass, oleaophobic coating.
