14 DAY TRIAL // While we're waiting for the launch of Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding on November 8, Sony revealed a brand new limited edition PS4 Pro bundle, which includes a Death Stranding-themed console and controller. Naturally, the new Limited Edition PS4 Pro Bundle includes the Death Stranding game as well.
The personalized console revealed in the official pictures clearly shows a white matte finish, with two BT (Death Stranding's supernatural enemies) handprints that form the shapes of the world's continent. The DualShock 4 wireless controller features an orange translucent color, similar to the game's BB Pod (baby bridge).
As shown in some of the gameplay footage presented by Kojima Productions, players will be able to gently rock the controller to emulate holding the BB pod in their hands throughout the game.
Since this is a PlayStation 4 Pro, those who buy it will be able to enjoy an enhanced Death Stranding experience with dynamic 4K resolution. Even those playing on an HD TV will benefit from increased image clarity through supersampling. Last but not least, players with HDR display can also experience Death Stranding in high dynamic range color, which should provide them with a brighter and wider range of color detail.
Now, as far as the pricing goes, the Limited Edition Death Stranding PS4 Pro Bundle will be available for purchase in North America for $400 on November 8. Sony confirmed the bundle will be available in Europe as well, across select retailers, but there's no mention of the price. Still, it's safe to bet that it will sell for €400.
Death Stranding is coming exclusively to PS4 on November 8, but there's hope that a PC version will be released in the future. Until then, if you absolutely must play Kojima's upcoming game, but don't own a console, the Limited Edition Death Stranding PS4 Pro Bundle would be a great acquisition.
