14 DAY TRIAL // Following the launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, the much-anticipated PlayStation 5 version of Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is set for release on August 24, developer CI Game announced earlier today.
According to CI Games, digital sales of Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 exceeded the series’ previous iteration by 170% (during the first ten days), but things are looking even better considering there's one important platform left to cash in on, the PlayStation 5.
Speaking of the PlayStation 5 version of the game, this will be further enhanced, with players benefiting from DualSense adaptive triggers that give each weapon its own distinct feeling, improved SSD loading times, upgraded textures and visuals, and the ability to play in either performance mode (60fps, 2K) or visual mode (30fps, 4k).
In addition, the folks at CI Games announced they will provide the game’s first major DLC release free of charge to the entire player base across all versions, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. The upcoming DLC has a brand new and extensive region, complete with additional objectives and contracts.

It's important to mention that all PlayStation 4 editions (both digital and physical) arrive with a free digital upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version, ready to download upon its release on August 24. Pre-orders for PlayStation 5 physical editions are available from select retailers at $39.99 / €39,99 / £34,99, while the digital edition will be available at launch.
