14 DAY TRIAL // Scott Disick has been partying non-stop since his partner of 9 years, Kourtney Kardashian, broke up with him earlier this year on the grounds that he had fallen off the wagon and had even cheated on her. The other day, Scott aka “The Lord” checked himself into a rehab in Malibu.
This is his second stint in rehab this year, but there’s a catch: he already admitted to having a problem, but he is only doing it as part of his strategy for the upcoming custody battle, TMZ says.
Scott Disick wants unsupervised visitation rights
Us Weekly confirms that Scott is at a rehabilitation center in Malibu and says that he’s there for his problems with alcohol and drug use. The magazine can’t offer further details because a publicist for the reality star refused to answer calls for comment.
Count on inside sources to always deliver the gossip: insiders tell TMZ that, while Scott admitted to having a problem, he’s doing the whole rehab thing again because he wants to have some leverage in the upcoming custody battle. Scott Disick is a man with a plan.
Kourtney is determined to not let him spend time with the kids unsupervised while he’s still drinking and using, so to shut her up, he’s gone to rehab. This is the second time this year for him, with the first ending after just one week, when he decided he was too “busy” for rehab.
“He's gunning for unsupervised visits,” TMZ says. “He's told friends Kourtney Kardashian won't let him have unsupervised visitation until she knows he's clean.”
There’s still hope for reconciliation
As noted above, Kourtney finally had her fill of Scott’s antics earlier this year, when she asked him to move out of the house after photos of him and an ex-girlfriend on the beach in Monte Carlo emerged online.
The scandal and drama that followed will be documented on the upcoming season of the family’s reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Based on the latest trailer for it, which shows Scott crying that he has nobody left now that he’s been pushed out of the Kardashian-Jenner family, there’s still some hope for reconciliation for these two.
It could be that Scott has gone to rehab not to gain the upper hand on his ex in the custody battle, but because he believes this will convince her that he’s dead serious about winning her back.
