14 DAY TRIAL // Flying Wild Hog, the Polish studio behind Space Punks, has just released a massive content update for their sci-fi looter shooter. Dubbed “The Core One,” this is the fourth update for Space Punks since the game was released on Epic Games Store Early Access.
As the name suggests, the update is meant to overhaul the core game loop and promises to provide a greatly enhanced player experience based on players’ feedback. Apart from that, Space Punks users should expect brand-new story missions on the planet Stopan (Safecracking and Rescue Robot), while the Restarting Mining Facility challenge has been overhauled.
Another important change implement is the ability to unlock planets and game modes with Power Level and Hero Level, while those more confident can take advantage of the redesigned difficulty options. Speaking of difficulty, the Timed Events are now permanently set to Hardcore difficulty, but you’ll be getting extra loot for that.
The Core One also updates character skills descriptions. Also, players can now scrap all crafting elements and talent items, while the workbench has been improved to allow for smoother upgrading.

Apparently, the overhaul of the core game loop will continue in the next update, which should be coming very soon, developer Flying Wild Hog hints. Those who’d like to dive into Space Punk’s Early Access can do so by purchasing Founders Packs via the Epic Games Store.
